Feedstock characterisation & pilot testing
We start every engagement with feedstock characterisation: composition matrices, contamination profiles, residual adhesives and coatings analysis. Pilot runs in our modular test plant establish yield curves and surface property retention, informing scale-up decisions and commercial pricing.
Mechanical delamination & solvent-free reclamation
Our mechanical delamination modules separate layers without aggressive chemical exposure. Where adhesives require intervention, we deploy solvent-free thermal and mechanical techniques that minimise environmental footprint while recovering usable polymer fractions and preserving paper fibre structure.
Precision pulp restoration
Re-pulping processes are tuned to preserve fibre length and strength. We use staged refining, enzymatic conditioning where applicable and controlled retention aids to produce pulp suitable for high-value board and paper grades, reducing reliance on virgin pulp inputs.
Polymer reprocessing & concentrate production
Recovered polymer fractions undergo controlled extrusion and pelletising to produce concentrates with consistent melt-flow characteristics. These concentrates are suitable for blending into thermoformed products or injection moulded secondary packaging components.
Product prototyping & converter partnerships
We prototype finished goods using reclaimed feedstock and partner with converters to validate performance and consumer acceptability. PackRethink acts as the bridge between reclamation and commercial conversion, shortening test cycles and reducing risk.
Design-for-recycling consultancy
Our consultancy services advise on material selection, adhesive strategies, label systems and assembly methods that facilitate end-of-life recovery. We support brands in designing packaging that balances function, brand identity and circularity.
